Each semester, Emerson College students in Professor Cathyrn Edelstein’s class join forces to facilitate a bi-annual fundraising campaign. This fall, the collegiate fundraising team supports Dorchester’s Mather School, the first public elementary school in the United States (founded in 1639).
Each student is working in a different area of expertise ranging from social media to event planning. This collaboration aims to provide the Mather School with a wider array of inclusive and diverse books for their school library.
