Our Mission
On The Same Page Boston organizes a group of passionate college students in Emerson College School of Communication. We work together to advocate for Boston Public School libraries, students and their right to shelves of diverse and inclusive books.
We create book campaigns for donors to either buy and send, or drop off gently-loved diverse books to our Boston public school partners.
DID YOU KNOW?
It has been scientifically proven that exposure to representational books improves self-esteem, interest in reading, and language skills (Illinois Library Association)
We believe every child deserves the opportunity to be a part of a story.
As of Spring 2019, On the Same Page Boston has distributed 9,000 books to 9 public schools in the Boston, serving 3,717 students. 193 Emerson College School of Communication students have gained hands-on experience with On the Same Page.
