On The Same Page Boston – an Emerson College student-run advocacy campaign – has selected the Mather Elementary School in Dorchester to be the beneficiary of its 2025 gently used book collection campaign! Founded with public funds in 1639, the Mather School is the United States’ first public elementary school. Today, the Mather School serves more than six hundred students ranging between kindergarten through sixth grade and is distinguished by its dual language program in English and Vietnamese. This spring’s campaign will run from the 20th of March to the 17th of April of 2025. On The Same Page Boston is partnering with Tatte Cafe and Bakery at all of its locations in Massachusetts to collect donated books. To remain environmentally friendly and maximize impact, this spring’s book drive is focused on public support in the form of donating children's books once loved, but no longer needed.

New blog posts will be published semiweekly featuring more information about this spring’s book drive!
