Happy Giving Tuesday! Giving Tuesday follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday, focusing on acts of selflessness and giving. As it’s a reminder following these days of mass consumption-- a reminder to reground and to donate and give back.

While also engaging in your gratitude, it begs the question: can we really treat this as just one day?As we celebrate Giving Tuesday today, we want to remind you of the importance of small acts of giving throughout the year. How can you relate this to book donations?

When we visited the Ohrenberger school, the wonderful librarian let us know that the budgeting cycle within the school can pose certain challenges. The schools orders will go out this Spring, so they will place orders now!

So, we thank you for considering giving back on Giving Tuesday, but we want to remind you that with any cause – even giving books – you don’t have to limit your attention to just one day of the year. There are constantly new books coming out, and we urge you to participate in donating throughout the publishing cycles to increase the variety of books for these kids.
